Charles started his law enforcement career in 1998 and recently (semi) retired as a Captain with the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office. During his years of service with Sheriff's Office, Charles had the honor and privilege of serving the men and women of the organization as well as the community in a multitude of assignments and positions including field services, contract services, corrections, training, and 20+ years as an instructor for multiple topics. As an advent believer in Servant Leadership and a Growth Mindset, Charles has continued his commitment to service as a Leadership and Ethics instructor and member of the agency's Training and Development Group (TDG). Charles is honored to be a member of the Code 9 Team and looks forward to the opportunity of helping those who have selflessly committed to helping others.
